To buy or Not to buy!

Here is a copy of a no buy list for BHPH/LHPH inventory. Any thoughts on vehicles that should be added to or removed from the list and why.

  • I've noticed a lot of issues (everything from engine to electronics) with the non-turbo Cruze. If one of those are purchased, proceed with caution and be "extra" critical.

  • Why wouldn't you buy any hybrids?  Cost of repairs? Thanks

@Bill Elizondo Opinions vary, I don't think there is a specific make or model that is the most cost effective. Vehicles under 100k miles tend to be overall the most cost effective. The purchase price may be a little higher but the after sale and/or warranty expense is usually lower.

    • Other than some transmission issues to just be aware of, I always had pretty good luck with  a Taurus.
