I've noticed a lot of issues (everything from engine to electronics) with the non-turbo Cruze. If one of those are purchased, proceed with caution and be "extra" critical.
Why wouldn't you buy any hybrids? Cost of repairs? Thanks
Bill Elizondo Yes, cost of maintenance and repairs.
Jon Parks what’s the most cost effective vehicle to buy for BHPH and or for LHPH?
@Bill Elizondo Opinions vary, I don't think there is a specific make or model that is the most cost effective. Vehicles under 100k miles tend to be overall the most cost effective. The purchase price may be a little higher but the after sale and/or warranty expense is usually lower.
Jon Parks thanks for the information.
Bill Elizondo US News and World Report shows the Porsche 911 as the most reliable luxury car. If you want to do BHPH/LHPH for that market, Porsche seems to have the best service record.
Only if you have a good mechanic well versed in Italian super cars.
Good to know.
I am a late comer to the conversation, but, I thought it was the Ford Taurus...??
Other than some transmission issues to just be aware of, I always had pretty good luck with a Taurus.
