Reaching Millennial Buyers

I am sure that you, as all of us, get plenty of emails. And of course, many get canned with barely a glance.  However, recently, I received one that I stared at for a few  minutes just trying to grasp the concept.

According to an email I received from American Express:

  • 73 % of the Millennials in the US workforce are involved in B2B purchasing decisions

  • Millennials expect their B2B buying purchases to mirror their buying experiences

  • With B2B e-commerce estimated to reach $1.2 trillion by 2021, finding a way to deliver a digital payment solution is going to be key

Whether completely true or not, the time to be able to accept digital payments is here!

I am curious how many of our readers do not accept debit or credit cards, or other digital payment types?  I do know there are many reasons to be slow to adapt to this change, the biggest ones being the tracking of payments (from bank) and issues with charge-backs.

  • I love this post.  My entire business right now is designed around a communication platform that stacked payment on top of it. The success we see with our texting platform is amazing. We give people the ability to not only communicate with dealerships through texting but also pay their bill. Great post, Joyce!
